| For Membership, eligible person shall apply to the President of the Society on prescribed application form, along with other details. |
 For Membership
|
| For Membership, eligible person shall apply to the President of the Society on prescribed application form, along with other details, shall furnish proof of three years of active work in Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine. If the applicant has not been a 'junior' or 'associate member', the application shall be sponsored by a member or 'Senior Member'. |

For Senior Membership |
| For Senior Membership eligible person shall apply the the President of the Society on prescribed application form providing evidence for their eligibility to this type of membership. |

For Associate Membership |
| For Associate Membership, eligible person shall apply to the President of the Society on prescribed application form. The application along with other information, shall provide proof of passing a postgraduate examination in Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine, if the applicant is not been a 'Junior Member' or 'Senior Member' . |

For Junior Membership |
| For junior membership, eligible person shall apply to the President of the Society on the prescribed application form. The application along with other information, shall provide proof of his/her registered student-ship in a postgraduate course in Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine. The applicant must be sponsored by a 'Member' or 'Senior Member' of the society. |

For Honorary Membership |
For Honorary Membership, any member or senior member can nominate an eligible person. The nominations along with curriculum vitae of the nominee, shall be sent to the President of the Society.
On receipt of applications/nominations the Secretary of the society, after scrutinizing the statement and and with the consent of the President, shall issue a letter of provisional membership. All applications will be presented to executive committee in its meeting. On approval by the executive committee a permanent membership certificate will be issued by the secretary of the society. Approval of the executive committee shall be obtained before the election for any office to enable the applicant to cast his/her vote. |
