| hairy cell leukemia |
| Hi
I am a pharmacist in the uk and have a cousin in pakistan (lahore) who has been diagnosed with Hairy cell leukemia. He has had a stroke and is currently on supportive care. He requires treatment with cladribine which i have sent from the Uk. Please can anyone advise where he should have this treatment carried out as it requires specialist knowledge from a haematologist who has experience of dealing with this disease. He has low platelet levels and is loosing weight both signs of hairy cell leukemia. Please advise where the best place is for him to be monitored and have treatment with cladribine
thanks

The place for traetment in Lahore would be Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. May Allah bless your cousin with complete restoration of health!

Thank you for the reply. The hospital you mention are not able to take this case on because of capacity issues. Is there a specific haematologist who may be able to treat him???
thanks
